How to keep your modules healthy over time

Review what you use
Keep a list of active extensions, their purpose and who maintains them. Remove unused modules after checking that nothing depends on them.
Update deliberately
Read release notes, back up your site and test updates on staging. Update platform software and modules in a planned sequence so compatibility issues are easier to isolate.
Watch the experience
Periodically check key customer paths and page speed. A small change to one extension can affect another, especially around checkout, search or caching.
Keep ownership clear
Make sure someone can access license details, documentation and support channels. Good maintenance is a repeatable process, not an emergency response.
